As well as learning the essentail ceramic skills of hand-building and wheelwork, you will also learn decoration techniques - painting with underglaze colours, using coloured slips (sgraffito, marbling etc.) coloured clay inlays, oxides and 3rd firing lustres. Wonderful effects can also be achieved by incorporating ceramic mosaic into your work.
