Printmaking Tutors

Robert Ives majored in printmaking at NAS, and also teaches at the Pine Street Creative Centre. He has experience in many art forms which allows him to draw on a broad skills base. His classes are mixed, from beginners to practicing artists which give a dynamic result for the students. He says “Art is my love. Teaching is my joy.”

Susan Baran graduated from NAS and did Post Graduate studies at City Art Institute (now COFA) and Sydney College of the Arts. She has exhibited extensively in Australia and internationally with 8 solo shows to date and her work is in the National Gallery of Australia and Artbank. Susan specializes in safer printmaking techniques using non toxic methods. Explore solar plate, etching with copper sulphate, dry point, collagraphs and monotypes.
